After a four-year courtship, Sharon Summerall wed Don Henley Saturday, May 20, in Malibu, Calif.
The ceremony was performed by Reverend Norman Amps and was attended by close friends and family.
Guests included fellow Eagles Glenn Frey, Don Felder, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit. Also in attendance were Jack Nicholson, Bob Seger, David Crosby, Ben Stiller and Jeanne Tripplehorn, Clint Black and Lisa Hartman, Tricia Yearwood, Randy Newman, Wendie Malick, Daphne Zuniga, Jimmy Buffett, Roger Waters, Bernie Taupin, Mimi Rogers, Kelly Lynch, Mary Kay Place , Frederic Fekkai, Peter Weller and Texas State Congressman Paul Sadler.
Industry executives in attendance included Andrew Lack, Tom Freston, Danny Goldberg, Mo Ostin, Peter Asher, John Sykes, Irving Azoff, Ed Rosenblatt, Johnny Barbis, Peter Grosslight, Lenny Waronker and Gale Anne Hurd.
The Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Clayton Haslop, performed selections from Bach, Handel, Beethoven and Mozart during the ceremony.
Entertainment at the reception was provided by the Chieftains, Tony Bennett, Max Carl and Big Dance, Sting, Billy Joel, J.D. Souther, Jackson Browne, John Fogerty, Bruce Springsteen, Sheryl Crow, Bruce Hornsby and the groom himself.
Dinner was prepared by chef Emeril Lagasse of the famed New Orleans restaurants Emeril's and Nola.
In keeping with the couple's environmental concerns, the invitations were printed on recycled paper, and all disposable items used at the wedding were recycled.
