Abstract: More details on Henley's wedding to Sharon Summerall.

Whatever music they had at the last wedding you attended, no way could it top the tunes serenading Don Henley and Sharon Summerall Saturday at a ranch in the Malibu hills.

Billy Joel threw himself into Ebb Tide; it absolutely knocked out the 500 guests, we're told, and Jack Nicholson, Clint Black, Lisa Hartman Black, Daphne Zuniga et al partied on till 4 a.m. and breakfast. All the Eagles, who just ended a 112-date tour, were on hand. But Joel was just one on the bill.

The formal outdoor, evening wedding began amid 500 candles with the L.A. Chamber Orchestra wafting Bach and Mozart during the ceremony. The Chieftains played for the reception; Tony Bennett kept things smooth at dinner. Then Henley intro-ed Sting, who did Someone to Watch Over Me and My One and Only Love. After Joel, ushers Jackson Browne and J.D. Souther did the Everly Brothers' ('Til) I Kissed You; John Fogerty did Elvis' Baby Let's Play House; and Henley did Come Rain or Come Shine and the Beatles' In My Life, dedicated to "hon," his bride.

Wait! There's more. Bruce Springsteen did Beechwood 4-5789. Henley did I Thank You. Sheryl Crow belted Respect and Bruce Hornsby jammed.

Those hiring summer wedding bands can brood about all this, but Henley's first marriage is off to a harmonious start. And yes, the eco-conscious singer is making sure all the wedding trash will be recycled!
