"Plot" Summary: "Mr. Henley" attempts to teach a classroom of disaffected, apathetic students. On their desks, the students have those bulky early '80s monitors. While Mr. Henley speaks at the front, a variety of images flash across the screens, most of them retro '40s and '50s footage. Some of the monitors are being used to play Pac Man (Remember that video game? I do! I was dang good at it, too! - Nancy). Johnny's monitor shows violent images such as the atomic bomb detonating. At one point the following Dickens quote scrolls by on Johnny's screen: "Whether I shall turn out to be the hero of my own life..." (the opening line of David Copperfield). The video's black humor effectively gets across the message of the song.
